Fingerprint Ring Workshop Policy

Our Fingerprint Ring Workshops are designed to be thoughtful, personal, and carefully crafted. Because each piece is custom-made, the following policies help ensure clarity and a smooth experience for all involved.

Workshop Booking & Deposit

Fingerprint Ring Workshops must be booked at least two weeks in advance. A deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the production of your ring.

Workshops are non-refundable. Rescheduling may be accommodated with at least 48 hours’ written notice to team@kingandcurated.com. Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or late cancellations.

In the rare event that King + Curated must reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you may choose to reschedule your appointment or receive a refund of your workshop deposit.

The Workshop Experience

Each workshop includes dedicated, one-on-one guidance from our team within our studio setting. During your session, you’ll take three fingerprint impressions and select your preferred print, which will be cast into a ring in sterling silver.

All materials and design guidance are included. Optional upgrades such as alternative metals, engraving, or rush production- may be added at the conclusion of your workshop and will be quoted based on current market rates. Payment for any upgrades is due at that time.

Ring Sizing

Ring size is confirmed at the time of booking and cannot be adjusted during the workshop. You’re welcome to visit the store prior to booking to be sized in person, use our at-home DIY ring sizer tutorial (linked here), or order a ring sizer through our website (linked here)

If resizing is needed after production, a resizing service is available for a $65 fee.

Production Timeline

Standard production time is approximately 1–2 weeks from your workshop date. Production timelines are estimates and may vary based on metal choice, design complexity, and vendor availability. King + Curated is not responsible for delays outside of our control.

Rush production is available for an additional $50 and allows for completion within 7 business days. Shipping time, if applicable, is not included in this timeline.

Shipping & Pickup

Completed pieces must be picked up within one month of notification. After this time, shipping may be arranged at the customer’s expense.

Pieces not picked up or shipped after one month may be considered forfeited.

Custom Work & Final Sale

All fingerprint rings are custom, made-to-order pieces. Once your workshop has taken place and production has begun, all sales are final.

Custom pieces are not eligible for returns, refunds, or store credit.

Wear & Care

King + Curated is not responsible for damage, loss, or wear after pickup or shipment. Normal wear and patina of sterling silver are part of the material’s natural aging process and are not considered defects.

Your ring may be polished with a polishing cloth if you wish to restore its shine, and we’re always happy to offer guidance on care.

Agreement

By booking a Fingerprint Ring Workshop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the policies outlined above.
