Some stones ask to be admired, and others ask to be felt.
The Verdelite ring began with one such stone, a one-of-a-kind bi-color green tourmaline that slows you down. Mossy green dissolving into a soft, glowing white. I wasn't looking for it. In fact, I found it while sourcing for another client. But I knew the moment it was in front of me. I knew I had to have it. I've looked ever since, and I've never found its twin. Rather than designing from a sketch or a trend, this ring allowed the stone to tell me what it needed to be.
The green draws you inward, and the natural warm diamonds simply carry that gentle glow outward. So the whole piece feels seamless.
Interestingly, the side diamonds had been in my collection for some time, waiting. When this tourmaline appeared, it felt like they were finally being introduced.
The name Verdelite comes from "verde", meaning green, and historically that variety of tourmaline is associated with nature, renewal and balance. That meaning became the emotional foundation for the piece. More than anything, this ring is an invitation to slow down.
Some jewelry demands attention. The Verdelite simply invites you to see it, to connect with it, to slow down enough to notice it.
